If you are looking at our league schedules and suddenly see a game re-scheduled for September don't be alarmed! There is a reason for this...
Game cancellations in RAMP do not allow a game to be suspended/flagged for rescheduling. Cancelling a game removes that game from the league schedule with no record of the game remaining.
In order to avoid losing track of these games the HSL has adopted a process of simply moving such games into a future date beyond the end of the regular season. When this occurs, the game date is moved to a day in the first week of September, with an automated email message sent to team staff of both teams about the change and a note explaining this (and why the game was cancelled).
When a new date has been agreed to by the teams involved, the game is updated again with the new date/location details and again an automated email message is sent to team staff of both teams.
Players-parents do not receive a notice of these schedule changes as past attempts to use the RAMP feature to include emails to players-parents has proven unreliable. While we anticipate that team staff will always let players and parents know about any schedule changes, it is important to ALWAYS check your team schedule in RAMP to confirm a game has not been moved for later rescheduling!
